SO HAPPY TODAY!

Hahaha. So happy. Today, I went to take my SAT (my second time), it was way harder than the March one, but i thought I did better. But of course, you know me, always off on my predictions. Sigh, just wait, on the day the results come out, I would be hapf crying and helf laughing. What an ironic life. For a minute, I really really miss Mrs. Tan's Lit class, have no idea why.

The other thing that really makes me happy is that I finally mananged to push up my English! From D to B some more. Now, it is a 89, which is just sitting on the fence from a B+, so I really really have to work really really hard ot push it up some more (Well at least to a stable B+)!

The AP exams start next week, with History on Friday morning. There is also the Cambridge Biology one in the afternoon on that day, but who cares, it is the Cambridge thingie that colleges here dun even care about. It is so funny to think that while in Singapore, people (like me) work their asses off to score well on the Olevels, but here, nobody really cares (they dun even care about the As!). The other day in History class, they were talking about how we have to take both the AP and the Cambridge at around the same time this year and everyone was complaining and really angry at the school for making us take two tests, when one of them isn't even worth the effort. Because of the fact that the A-level Biology falls on the 15th, which is like the day after the last day of school, this guy says that he is just going to go in and write his name on the paper and sleep for the remaining time. I mean, it is logical: you have to take the test in order to get the weighted score on your report card, no matter if you just get a F, or better yet a U, so why waste the effort?

I heard that last year, everyone who took the A- level Chem got a U (and I mean it literally) so this year, I am going to break the convention and get a F. James K so smart, wish I could have his brain so that I can have at least a better chance at getting a A. sigh.

Alright, I am going to work really really hard starting from today, so please, no distraction and of course, no daydreaming (yeah right).

My new approach

I have decided to adopt a more optimistic approach towards life. Everything have to be happy i my eyes now. So even if I fall down or *touch wood* get knocked down by a train, i will just ave to convince myself that this incident takes the place of a ore disasterous event.

Doing my English paper now. Some paper where you have to read this passage and write about how the author uses style and technoques to portray her view on the American culture. Ms. L has been giving a lot of these writing assignments since the start of the 4th quarter, and i am just doing Ok on them. i mean, one moment, I am getting like a 95 and the other, I will drop to a 80. All depends on my mood. I guess i dun like to do all these things, but it is good practice for the AP test, so have to "jia you"!

It is almost the end of the week. Oh did I mention, i have to go take the SAT this Saturday. Really wish i can score really well so that I dun have to take it again...

Congrats Linh on you new blog. Looks very pretty.

To all those that are looking here, leave your trace behind, dun just lurk around.

Go Linda, you can do it! (The start of my optimistic journey)

I will start linking some of the people I know. So if you happen to drop by, please tag so that I dun have to look for you (lazy mah).
